What it's like
McKinley Hill is a 50-hectare Megaworld township just south of BGC proper. It mixes office towers, condos and townhouses with Venice Grand Canal Mall (complete with a canal and gondolas), the British and Korean embassies on Upper McKinley Road, and schools including Chinese International School Manila, Korean International School Philippines and Enderun Colleges.
It suits families with children at CISM or KISP, people working in the township's offices or embassies, and anyone who wants more space for less. A 2BR at Viceroy (about 60 sqm) is listed at ₱65,000–70,000 a month, and at Venice Luxury Residences at about ₱85,000.
It feels more suburban than BGC. You can walk within the township, but High Street is about 1.8 km away, so most trips to central BGC are a short Grab ride. The roads out get heavy at rush hour like everywhere in Metro Manila. BGC as a whole rarely floods: a detention tank under Burgos Circle holds up to 22,000 cubic meters of storm water and releases it after the rain. The roads out of BGC are another matter, so plan around rush hour and heavy rain (see Getting around).

- Our dining guides don't list anything in McKinley Hill yet. Residents mostly eat at Venice Grand Canal Mall, or take a 10-minute ride to High Street and Burgos Circle.
Everyday life
- Mall: Venice Grand Canal Mall, with SuperPark (a Finnish indoor activity park) and WiiJUMP Trampoline Park in the same building.
- Schools: Chinese International School Manila and Korean International School Philippines, both on Upper McKinley Road; Enderun Colleges is also in the township.
- Sport: Play Padel McKinley.
- Work: Common Ground Digital Park McKinley Hill.
- Pets: the McKinley Hill Dog Park, a hedged lawn with agility ramps near the Korean Embassy.
- Embassies: the British Embassy (120 Upper McKinley Road, by appointment) and the Korean Embassy (122 Upper McKinley Road).
- Health: St. Luke's Medical Center – Global City is about 2.2 km away, a short drive outside rush hour.
